Current positions:

Medical Director of Wayne Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Associates (outpatient service); Advanced Rehabilitation Medical Services (inpatient service) and Director of Rehabilitation Medicine at several inpatient Subacute Rehabilitation centers in Northern New Jersey. He also serves as Physician Advisor for several insurance companies, and serves as a Clinical Instructor for the UMDNJ-Physician Assistant Program. He has consulting privileges at the Valley Hospital, St. Joseph’s of Wayne Hospital and Chilton Memorial Hospital.

John Philip Festa is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in subacute rehabilitation medicine. John is a graduate of Rutgers University and Master's of Science - Physician Assistant Program at St. John's University - Catholic Medical Center and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). John also serves as Clinical Instructor at the UMDNJ-Physician Assistant Program.


Julia Javier, PA-C

Julia Javier is a certified Physician Assistant and specializes in subacute rehabilitation medicine. She is a graduate of Duke University with a Bachelor of Science and Biology, Master of Science - Physician Assistant Program from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

 


Robert Letizia, DPT-MS

Director of Physical Therapy

Dr. Letizia is a graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Science/Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is also McKenzie trained.

Dr. Letizia uses spine and orthopedic manual therapy, applying several theories including McKenzie, Maitland, Butler, among others, to approach complex problems in order to reduce pain and swelling and to restore normal joint mechanics with emphasis on returning patients to their highest functional capacity.

Dr. Letizia is a manual therapist endorsing evidence-based, problem solving approaches to all his patients in order to uphold the highest level of care. Special attention is paid to educating patients in order to promote independence from the clinician and maintain the patient's neuromusculoskeletal health.

Massage Therapist

Sandra Frederick is a graduate of the Kinley Institute for Massage and The Institute for Therapeutic Massage. Sandra is a seasoned manual therapist in conditions involving myofascial disorders related to the spine and fibromyalgia.
