At Wayne Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Associates, our primary concern is with the prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of painful disorders, as well as conditions that result in disability arising from many different causes.  The diagnoses of painful syndromes relies on interpretation of the patient’s past medical history and medical records, along with reviewing past imaging studies, as well as any other additional studies that might have been ordered. We also observe and evaluate the behavioral, social and occupational aspects of a patient’s complaints, diagnosis, and their impact on the patient’s quality of life and maximizing function. 

We provide care at various levels depending on the patient’s needs including prescribing rehabilitative techniques and services, prescribing medication, performing pain relieving injection procedures, counseling the patients and their families, as well as coordinating a multidisciplinary approach, which may include interventional pain management, as well as surgical consultation.  We will coordinate the patient’s care and treatment and communicate with referring primary physicians and specialists.
